Circuits on the bench

Electronics is hands-on circuit work—soldering, wiring, testing, and bringing sensors, motors, and boards to life on the bench.

You prototype on a breadboard, then move to more permanent builds: measuring with a multimeter, joining joints with solder, and tracing signals until the hardware behaves.

Makers build controllers, wearables, repair boards, and one-off gadgets—anything that needs power, wires, and a working circuit.

At Rochester Makerspace, members use the electronics benches and tools after any required training, alongside builders who share the space.
