Laser Cutters

The Makerspace laser area has three C02 lasers for cutting and engraving chipboard, wood, acrylic, and other materials. Two of our machines can accommodate materials as large as 17 x 27 inches, and the third machine can accommodate materials up to 23 x 39 inches. We regularly offer classes for our members to learn how to safely and properly operate these machines. Upon completion of training, Makerspace members can get instructor approval to independently use our laser cutter/engravers.

If you have questions about this area you can contact the area manager, Dave Smith, at lasers@rocmakers.org.
